Com 1: Checking the IP address

 

To establish a communication connection via TCP/IP, it is required that both communication partners (i.e., PC WORX and the controller used) are assigned a valid IP address (including the subnet mask). If this is not (yet) the case or not known for the controller used, the IP address can be checked via the serial interface located on the controller and be set, if required.

 

First, set the IP address and the subnet mask on your controller via the serial connection or via BootP.
