Set an IP-address for your computer which is in the same subnet like your PLC will be later.

  

For Windows 7 and Windows 8:

Control Panel → Network and Internet → Network and Sharing Center → Change Adapter Settings → Right click on the respective connection → Properties → Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
